The game Elden Ring that was released on February 25th 2022, has gotten every gamer and non-gamer so hyped about. This is a action RPG that enables gamers to explore whole new world filled with fantasy.

FromSoftware inc. which also gave us the blaster dark souls I,II and III. Elden ring has managed to draw gamers all over the world to play it, because of its awesome medieval style of gameplay filled with fantasy.

Elden ring goes to about a average of 50 hours in length, but when you decide to explore every part of the game you would be spending a whopping 114 hours to get 100% completion. In order to play the game, the minimum system requirements are; Ram of 12-16GB, Free space of 60GB, CPU Intel(i5/i7) - Radeon(Ryzen3/Ryzen5) and Direct X V.12.

There are characters that can be recognised when compared to other games that are similar to Elden ring such as; Bandits, Samurai and Astrologers some of the most recurred characters in medieval fantasy games.

Gamers take on the role of the Tarnished, who is the main protagonist of the entire game, the main purpose of the game is for the player to repair the broken Elden ring, fight a bunch of demi-gods and creatures and become an Elden lord. The main reason gamers are playing Elden ring is due to its vast options, your actions have consequences this revolves around the game, there are 6 different endings that are based on your actions. The what, how and why you do it are the base of the game that provides its gamers a wonderful experience of playing in this open-world medieval fantasy game.

Another USP of the game is that it allows user to battle and takeover other gamers'  world and allows them to participate in duels, this also has hyped up gamers having the chance to play both campaign and multiplayer.

What is to be expected in the future of Elden Ring

FromSoftware has still not decided whether the game would get a follow up sequel, but this is highly wanted by gamers who are currently enjoying the game. Despite no prepared plans for the future they most probably will add some DLCs that will take the game to a whole new level.

Due to the success of Elden ring, FromSoftware's future of developing other games will become harder as they have been coming to setting a standard in their previous games such as Dark souls and now Elden ring.

Nonetheless Elden ring is one of the best-selling games of 2022 world wide and gamers are enjoying playing the open world fantasy. The game has set itself a standard that gamers will never forget about.
